In 1983, two kids from Queens, started with their first women’s clothing store under the name of Mango Tango. Their vision of creating a cool local place to shop for the young and hip, soon lead them to opened their first Butter location in Merrick. The new store became the “talk of the town,” bringing trendy New York City fashion to Long Island. Along with Butter’s hands-on experience, their success is attributed to understanding their customer and providing them with exceptional service. “We try to do the best we can to make our customers happy and look fabulous!” It was not long until they expanded to be one of Long Island’s favorite retail chains of fashion apparel. Max and Gino’s clothing stores offer a wide assortment of great jeans, tee-shirts, active wear and popular accessories.
